Work Experience
eLearning Specialist | TCS Education System
My job as an eLearning specialist has me seeking out the best practices, tools, resources, and software within the eLearning community. I work to introduce my research within our institution, training the faculty and staff so as to ensure that everyone is up to date with our initiatives and resources. My work also takes me to conferences, both as a participant and as a presenter.
Adjunct Instructor | The Chicago School of
Professional Psychology .
As an adjunct professor, I teach graduate level courses in Training & Development and eLearning as part of the I/O Psychology program at the school. I am also involved as both an instructional designer and as a subject matter expert in the curriculum development for these and many other courses.

As an instructional designer, I worked with subject matter experts in creating curriculum for online learning. Many of the courses I worked on existed in an on-ground format, and I was able to integrate the material into a blended or purely online environment. I also helped to build many programs from scratch as well. All of the coursework was graduate-level for psychology programs across many campuses within the education system.
Interactive Web Developer | TCS Education System
As an interactive web developer, I helped the institution with their social media initiatives and online presence. This position was within the marketing department, and as such I was involved with marketing-related media placement and general online content, both within the content management system as well as our public facing website.
Research and Development Intern | IPAT, Inc.
My intern position at IPAT, Inc. was originally intended to last for 3 months, but I ended up staying with them for over a year. I conducted validity studies and other forms of assessment research. Additionally I helped to develop, design, implement, and conduct qualifying training courses for IPAT products.
Instructional Designer | TCS Education System
As an instructional designer for my school's Academic Support Center, I implemented a training and development program to familiarize a team of instructional designers with the instruments needed to create and employ online classes, webinars, blended courses, etc. I also provided supervision for the process improvement projects throughout the design and implementation stages.
